PROJECT JEET

Project JEET is a joint effort by William J. Clinton Foundation (WJCF), Centre for Health Research and Innovation (CHRI) and Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND), under the guidance of Central TB Division (CTD) and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW) to extend quality TB care and ensure optimum standards of diagnosis and treatment for patients as per Standards for TB Care in India.
Project JEET is being jointly implemented by William J. Clinton Foundation (WJCF), Centre for Health Research & Innovation (CHRI) and Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND), and funded by Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM)

Project JEET supports TB patients and counsels their close contacts about Tuberculosis Preventive Treatment (TPT) to prevent the spread of the TB disease. Project JEET works in partnership with the government and private health facilities to facilitate and strengthen the uptake of TPT across India.
The JEET Annual Report 2018 provides an overview of the project along with details of coordination with NTP, progress updates, research, budgeting & finance, success stories, as well as the plan for the year 2019.

MISSION 2025

In tandem with the WHO goals, India has set an aggressive target of eliminating tuberculosis by 2025.

The World Health Organization (WHO) End TB Strategy was endorsed by the World Health Assembly in May 2014, and has the ambitious goal of ending the global tuberculosis (TB) epidemic by 2030.
